Agnès was born in France where she studied biology. She moved to South West England with her family in 1998 which gave her the opportunity to develop her creative personality.
From her first visit to an African art exhibition in Paris, to her more recent discovery of African textiles, she has always been interested in ethnographic art.
Her present work reflects her passion for African fabrics, which she uses to create original pictures.
She uses an unusual technique on foam board to skilfully combine the simple lines of her designs with the rich colours and bold patterns of African fabrics.
She has also created a range of fashion accessories including bags, scarves, necklaces, earrings… all made with African fabrics.
Now based in Cambridge, she is a member of Cambridge Open Studios.
